Tembelea Nyerere National Park (Selous)

Alright my traveling and adventure peeps. Ni wiki nyingine tena tunakutana hapa katika segment ya BATA BATANI. Basi bwana, wiki hii nipo na Selous Game Drive kwa wale wanzangu wapenda adventures.

The Selous Game Reserve is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km² and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature.

If you want a safari experience without the crowds you sometimes see at the more well-known reserves then Selous Game Reserve is for you.

Large numbers of elephants, black rhinoceroses, cheetahs, giraffes, hippopotamuses and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary,

Selous is one of the few big game reserves to allow hiking, offering wildlife enthusiasts the chance to explore Tanzania’s pristine landscapes on foot.

On game drives, follow wild dog as they dash through the bush hunting for warthog and antelope. Cruise along the river, passing pods of hippo cooling off under water. Or head out on foot to study the landscape up close, learning about everything from termites to trees.

Kwa sasa, Selous imepewa jina la Nyerere National Park.

Goodluck exploring the park!
