First African to play at the NPL

Peter Ndlovu (born 25 February 1973) is a Zimbabwean former professional.

Born on February 25th, 1973, Peter Ndlovu originally comes from Binga district in North Western, Siabuwa Zimbabwe. Alizaliwa Bulawayo na alicheza professionally kama striker from 1988 until 2011.

He played for Highlanders in Zimbabwe, for Coventry City in the Premier League and in the Football League for Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town na Shieffield United.

In South Africa aliichezea Mamelodi Sundowns, Thanda Royal Zulu, Highfield United na Black Mambas. He was capped 81 times for his country, scoring 37 goals. 

Kaka zake Peter, Adam na Madinda were also international players.

The brothers played on the streets of Makokoba, Zimbabwe walipokulia.

Peter also played in both his primary (Lotshe Primary) and secondary (Mzilikazi) schools and his hometown team Highlanders kabla ya kujiunga na Coventry in 1991.
